Lark’s Flight – a journey home is the historical, autobiographical depiction of the lives and work of James Henry Lark, the first black bishop of the Mennonite church, who, along with his wife Rowena, worked extensively throughout the United States and Canada, in the service to inner city Black families, as told through the eyes of the author, their granddaughter, Carolyne Lark Swayze.
